Gabriel grew up watching his grandma and father cooking and has been passionate about food from an early age. He started his professional culinary journey in 2004 and never stopped. Gabriel has worked in Portugal, Brazil, India and New Zealand. He moved to New Zealand with his wife and kids in 2016 and fell in love with this country that they now call home.
Guto, born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, is a Chef with over 30 years of experience. He opened his first restaurant in the late 90’s in Brazil. His love for food has taken him to the far corners of the world, including, Portugal, India, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. His cooking has influences from all his travels and upbringing.
Chef Guto and Chef Gabriel Souza from Brazil combine their talent behind the stove. Enjoy them in their craziness, loudness but most of all, their culinary uniqueness!
They bring over 50 years international experience to the kitchen, showing their skills and taste combinations they have picked up on their travels.
Their plates are infused with flavours from their childhood in Brazil, experiences in Portugal, India, the Netherlands and now New Zealand.
